WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
Most yin yoga trainings teach you poses. This one teaches you how the body holds trauma, how the nervous system speaks, and how to create a space where real healing can happen — for your students, and for yourself.
You'll leave with the knowledge, the tools, and the lived experience to teach yin yoga in a way that goes far beyond the mat.
HOW IT WORKS
Two phases. One complete foundation + specialized certification. Learn at your own pace, then immerse fully in Sri Lanka.
Phase 01 — Online
Get instant access the moment you enroll. Work through the foundational curriculum on your own schedule, in your own time — from anywhere in the world.
Phase 02 — In Person
Embodied experience. Spend 10 days deepening into practice — with live lectures + guided practices, real feedback, and a community of like-minded practitioners around you.
Start learning the day you enroll. No waiting. No rigid schedule.
Understand how trauma lives in the body, how the nervous system responds, and how to create genuinely safe spaces for your students.
The philosophy, principles, and energetic framework behind a truly transformative yin yoga practice.
How to hold space, cue with intention, sequence with purpose, and guide students through emotional release with confidence.
In-depth video breakdowns of yin poses, modifications, contraindications, and the anatomy behind why each pose works.
Both trainings share the same core Trauma-Informed Somatic Yin Yoga curriculum and are designed to give you the knowledge, tools, and confidence to teach Somatic Yin through a trauma-informed lens.

Held at the serene Rukgala Retreat, this training offers a healing environment where you’ll deepen your understanding of the nervous system, trauma responses, and the somatic pathways that support real, lasting regulation.
Across 10 days, you’ll explore the full foundations of Yin Yoga, trauma-informed methodology, somatic practices, fascia and meridians theory, emotional anatomy, and safe space-holding techniques. This is more than a yoga teacher training — it’s a deep personal and professional evolution. You’ll move beyond teaching traditional Yin postures and discover how to facilitate embodied, therapeutic sessions that help students release stored tension, unwind survival patterns, and regulate their nervous system through experiential somatic practices.
Whether you’re a current yoga teacher, a Yin practitioner, or a passionate learner called to trauma-informed work, this 100-hour certification equips you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to guide Somatic Yin Yoga for healing and emotional well-being — in your classes, community, and life.
