Each day, you’ll be unlocking a foundational 20-minute video lesson that teaches Annie Au’s unique methodology to help you understand trauma physiology and sensitivity yin teaching. You’ll also receive a daily worksheet to help you reflect on and build a deeper understanding of the content covered that day as it relates to you and your situation.

  • Day 1: What is Trauma & how triggers work
  • On Day 1, you will find out what actually constitutes as traumatic and how triggers work. Learn the 3 misconceptions of triggers and find out your trauma response type.

  • Day 2: Decoding the autonomic nervous system
  • On Day 2, we will breakdown in simple terms how our autonomic nervous system functions and what we need to do to get out of survival mode.

  • Day 3: What is (& isn't) trauma informed yin yoga
  • Day 3 will help you understand what is and isn't trauma informed yin yoga, along with the 3 major misconceptions of yin yoga for trauma recovery.

  • Day 4: Chinese meridians theory for trauma recovery
  • On Day 4 you will learn about the 5 elements in Chinese meridians theory and how each element is associated with specific trauma responses.

  • Day 5: Establishing a sustainable practice for healing & self-love
  • On final day, Annie will show you how to avoid re-traumatization and build a sustainable practice for healing and growth.

Meet Annie.

With over 10 years of experience in certifying yoga teachers, Annie is the visionary behind Trauma Informed Yin Yoga, a comprehensive teacher training in trauma physiology, somatic works and sensitivity teaching. She infuses Chinese meridians theory into her unique method, weaving cutting edge neuroscience with ancient wisdom.

More than a decade ago, Annie embarked on a profound spiritual journey driven by her personal struggle with anxiety. Exhausted by a life consumed by fear and despair, she sought ways to reclaim her happiness. Over the years, Annie has studied many healing practices including yoga, Qi Gong, acupressure, and somatics.

Through her studies in Taoism and Chinese meridians, Annie has recognized the inherent link between our physical bodies and our emotions. Understanding that our emotional well-being is intricately connected to our physical health, she was inspired to develop a comprehensive course that enables others to forge a deep connection with their emotions and cultivate balance in their lives.

Drawing from her extensive expertise and years of accumulated knowledge, Annie's training shines light on trauma and our innate self-healing power.
